I was born here in Gainesville, Florida, but raised down in the McIntosh area. I married my husband over 15 years ago, have an 8 1/2 year-old daughter, two cats, and a dog. I enjoy traveling, exercise, reading, spending time with my family, camping, and watching my daughter play sports! 

I have been a hairstylist for 18 years in October of this year. During this time, starting around 2013, I also began working for a company called Trustar who hired me as an educator for their Goldwell color line. I then taught hair color application and techniques to stylists in other salons around the state of Florida for the next 8 years. I have also completed the Master Colorist program through Goldwell. This was a four step process where I had to go to one of their academies for extensive education. I went three times to New York, and once to LA before obtaining the title. I have also taken various other academy classes in New York, California, and Baltimore. I believe in always continuing my education, as things are ever-changing in the beauty industry and I think it’s important to stay in touch and engaged.
